With little to no confirmation from the state government in terms of how much funding the Taylorville School District will receive next year, administrators and faculty are playing the waiting game.
Superintendent of Taylorville School District Dr. Gregg Furstenau tells Regional Radio that even with confirmation from the state, the school district could still miss out on one or more categorical payments. Dr. Furstenau says these payments primarily affect special education and transportation funding.

Taylorville School Board meetings are open to the public and take place on the first Tuesday of the month.
