The Miller Media Group radio stations in Taylorville, will host “Matt McLemore Day” in honor of Matt's 25th anniversary on the air and his retirement that day, both on Thursday, April 2nd.

McLemore came to Taylorville and WTIM in 1990 as news director, and has hosted the WTIM Morning Show since 1992. He also has been heard on all the Taylorville cluster of the Miller Media Group radio stations, in his 25 years on-the-air.

Newstalk WTIM's Morning Show that day from 8:40 til 10 will feature Matt taking calls from listeners on his last day on the air, along with some other surprises. Miller Media Group president Randal J. Miller will host the event that day.

And, the public is invited to a reception in Matt's honor at the Miller Media Group studios at 918 East Park in Taylorville, from eleven that morning until one in the afternoon. A light lunch and refreshments will be served.
