Taylorville Kiwanis to Move Weekly Meeting from March 17 to March 19

 width=The Taylorville Kiwanis Club has announced it's moving its regular meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 17th, to Thursday, March 19th, in order to accommodate a special guest speaker.

Svetlana Gorokhova is the Head of the International Cultural Center of the All Russia State Library of Foreign Literature, and will speak to Taylorvile Kiwanis Club members and guests at a special Kiwanis luncheon at noon Thursday, March 19th at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital auditorium.

Gorokhova is supervising the joint activities of the Library and the diplomatic corps located in Russia, as well as national cultural centers.

The club has also learned that Cory Jobe, the new Illinois Director of Tourism, will also be attending the special March 19th Kiwanis meeting, and will introduce Gorokhova.

Kiwanis members and commnity guests are invited to attend this special March 19th Kiwanis meeting at noon, at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital auditorium.
