Gwin Pleads Guilty to Harassment and Criminal Damage

Today in a Christian County courtroom, Luke D. Gwin, 36, of Macon pleaded guilty to harassment through electronic communication and criminal damage to state-supported property.

According to Assistant State’s Attorney, Brian Bach, Gwin made phone calls to his ex-wife’s family threatening to kill them. His ex-in-laws, who were present in the courtroom, called the police to have Gwin arrested. When he was in the back of the police car, officers said he was very aggressive and according to Bach, when Gwin was in the Christian County Correctional Center, he ripped a security camera off the wall. He was then placed in a padded cell. According to reports, alcohol was a factor.

Gwin is sentenced to 2 years probation and will serve 120 days in jail with credit for time served of 60 days. He is also to have no contact with his ex-wife or her family.
