A local Taylorville pharmacy has closed. Regional Radio News has learned that owners Carl Emerling and Donna Kovack-Emerling have closed the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy at 102 West Park Street. The store apparently closed at the end of January after being owned by the couple for a year.

In a letter to their customers, the Kovack's said they transferred their pharmacy records to the Taylorville Walgreen's.

The Kovack's opened the Taylorville Medicine Shoppe early last year. In the letter to customers, they said they will miss seeing their customers.
