THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Devinn N. Moss, 19, of Kincaid was arrested Thursday for theft.

Jacob R. Conaway, 24, of Edinburg was arrested Thursday for theft.
Jesse W. Demascal, 26, of Pana was arrested Thursday for driving with a suspended license.

ACCIDENTS:

On Thursday, Bonnie Stockton, 65, of Pana was traveling East on 350 North Road. At about 1300 East, a deer ran onto the roadway. Stockton tried to avoid the deer but could not. She did have damage to her 2002 Dodge Caravan but fortunately no injuries to Stockton were reported.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On Thursday at 10:17 a.m. Christian County Probation requested an officer reference to Gary E. Turvey having a device to store urine in during a drug test. Turvey was arrested for defrauding a drug and alcohol screening test. He was processed and lodged at Christian County Correctional Center. Today in court, probable cause found to detain Turvey and his bond was set at $50,000. His next court date will be on Monday at 10 a.m.
