Area Arrests/Accidents 2-2-15

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERRIFF’S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Fredrick J. Tremain, 38, of Springfield was arrested Saturday for driving with a suspended license. Bond was set at $5,000.

George A. Nash, 43, of Virden was arrested Friday for failing to report an accident and for driving under the influence.

Joseph L. Ishmael, 28, of Rosamond was arrested Saturday for domestic battery. His bond was set at $25,000.

ACCIDENTS:

On Wednesday at 1:15 a.m. David R. Hardin, 58, of Taylorville was traveling Northeast on IL RT 48 and applied the brakes to avoid a deer. Hardin lost control and went into the ditch on the West side of the road. No damage was reported.

On Monday at 6:30 a.m. Mary S. Brandon, 38, of Kincaid was traveling East on IL RT 104. A deer entered the roadway and was struck by Brandon. There was damage to her car and it was towed away.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Jacob Ryan, 38, of Taylorville was arrested Friday for driving with a suspended license.

Charles D. Brown, 81, of Taylorville was arrested Friday for resisting arrest from a police officer.

Ryan Clay, 24, of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for unlawful use of intoxicating compounds.

On Sunday, at 12:35 a.m. officers received a call about domestic disturbance between Bradley A. Cox and Jerica J. Hall. Hall was face down on the hallway floor with Cox on top of her. According to the reports, as Cox got off, Hall was directed to go into the living room. After an investigation, Hall was arrested for domestic battery and transported to the Taylorville Police Department to be processed and then transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of Bond.
