THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Justin R. Sherman, 33, of Taylorville was arrested Friday for driving his license was revoked.

Coral L. Harrison, 32, of Tovey was arrested for driving with a suspended license.

David K. Matthews, 28, of Taylorville was arrested for a valid warrant for his arrest out of Montgomery County.

Cody M Pugsley, 29, of Taylorville was arrested Saturday for driving with a suspended license.

Samuel J. Foote, 35, of Springfield was arrested for Friday for possession of cannabis.

Edward W. Kraut, 18, of Taylorville was arrested Wednesday on a warrant.

On Friday at approximately 10:30 p.m. a Taylorville Police Officer was sent to Casey’s west in reference to a battery. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to Jared McConnell, 18, of Kincaid said he had been choked while in a vehicle at Amity Food Mart. While speaking with McConnell, the officer could smell the alcohol from his breath. McConnell was transported to the Taylorville Police Department where he was processed for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor. He was released on a notice to appear.
