As one of his last acts as Governor, Pat Quinn vetoed a bill which would have allowed the hunting of bobcats in Illinois. The House Sponsor of the bill, Wayne Rosenthal of Morrisonville, says it passed both houses of the Democrat controlled legislature:

Quinn vetoed the bill over the weekend. Bruce Rauner was sworn in as Illinois Governor yesterday (Monday).
