The Taylorville Kiwanis Club held their monthly business meeting at their weekly luncheon Tuesday at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital auditorium.
Kiwanis members reviewed work by various committees on local projects benefitting children and youth in the Taylorville community.
Kiwanis Park committee members are working towards getting prices on projects such as resurfacing the existing pavilion floor, and the addition of one or 2 new smaller pavilions to accommodate more families at the park.
And Kiwanis members were reminded about the Kiwanis Club's annual Pancake and Sausage Day fund-raiser Saturday, January 31st from 6:30 to 11am at the Taylorville Moose Club. Proceeds from the benefit support local Kiwanis projects for children and youth.
