A driver allegedly ran a yield sign Friday (12-26), causing an accident that sent two Pana residents to the hospital. According to police reports, a 16 year-old driver ran the yield sign at the intersection of Maple and 6th Streets in Pana, crashing into a car driven by 25 year-old Kyle J. Gill. The 16 year-old and a passenger in Gill's car were reportedly sent to Pana Community Hospital with unspecified injuries. The teenager was apparently ticketed for failure to yield.
