One of Taylorville's favorite annual events gets underway this week: Christmas in the Park. Bailey Hancock, Park District Recreation Director, says deciding where everything goes takes a lot of planning:

Christmas in the Park begins with the Jingle Bell Walk Thursday evening, where you can walk through Manner's Park. The park opens for drive through traffic Friday, and the lights will be on every night through Christmas. There is no charge to drive through, although donations are accepted.
