The school superintendent of the Morrisonville School District has died.
According to a phone call sent to all students' parents in the district, Karen Perry went in for emergency heart surgery on Wednesday, and passed away this (Friday) morning due to complications from the surgery.
Perry was in the middle of her first year as Morrisonville superintendent.
