It wouldn't be the holidays without Christmas in the Park at Manners Park in Taylorville. The event gets underway next week. Taylorville Park Recreation Director Bailey hancock says they will kick things off with the Jingle Bell Walk Thursday December 11th:

The Park opens for drive through traffic Friday December 12th, and will be open from 5 to 10:00pm every night through Christmas day. Special events will take place nightly at the Park Dining hall. There is no charge to see the displays, but they do accept donations.
