The new Shoe Sensation shoe store in the Grand Plaza Shopping Center in Taylorville, completed their grand opening week on Saturday with a live broadcast on Miller Media Group radio stations WRAN and WSVZ. Miller Media president Randal J. Miller and his daughter Sheri co-hosted the 3-hour live broadcast, in which the pair gave away a host of gift certificates and prizes.

Area Director for Shoe Sensation Kim Jin told Miller that Taylorville was attractive to them, which is why they decided to locate a store here.

Jin added that in addition to the many brands the store carries, they're working with S-A-S Shoe Company to become a local dealer for their brand of shoes, which were formerly carried by the now-closed Bolinda's Shoe Store.
