Area Arrests/Crashes/Incidents 11-18-14

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Jamie Weller, 37, of Morrisonville, was arrested on November 17th on a bond forfeiture warrant for failure to appear.

Tasha Tirpak, 26, of Taylorville, was arrested on November 17th on a bond forfeiture warrant for failure to appear.

Kerri Ballion, 40, of Rochester, was arrested on November 17th for meth precursor, possession on drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. No bond set.

Clifford Ballion, 49, of Rochester, was arrested on November 17th on two counts for possession of drug paraphernalia and meth precursor. No bond set.

 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On November 16, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle who's registered owner had two warrants. On from Logan County and the other from Macon Count. Subsequent to investigation, Zachary Williams, of Williamsville, was arrested for his two warrants, driving while license were suspended, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Taylorville Police Department for processing and then transported to the Christian County Correctional Center in lieu of bond.

On November 17, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that had a suspended driver. Subsequent to investigation, Richard D. Oller, of Taylorville, was arrested for driving while license were suspended.

On Novembere 17, officers observed a driver who had a suspended drivers license while driving a vehicle. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. Subsequent to investigation, William R. Smith of Springfield, was arrested for driving while his license were suspended.

On November 15, a tobacco compliance check was conducted and Route Mart was found to be in violation. One city ordinance violation was issued to Robert E. Wombachur of Taylorville.

On November 15, officers were dispatched to 917 East Oak Street for a possible domestic. Subsequent to investigation, Shawn R. Grubaugh of Taylorville, was arrested for criminal damage to property.

On November 15, at 4:23am, officers were dispatched to 700 Park Blvd in reference to a disturbance. After investigation, Joseph G. Beisher of Taylorville, was arrested for domestic battery. He was transported to the Taylorville Police Department, processed, and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.

On November 15, at 4:16 pm, officers were dispatched to 1511 West Elm for a domestic disturbance. Subsequent to investigation, Justin R. Pellman of Taylorville was arrested for domestic battery.

On November 11 at 3:31 pm, Taylorville Police were dispatched to West Main Cross and Clay for a traffic crash. Officers spoke with Harry W. Orr, 0f Taylorville, and he stated he was traveling east on West Main Cross. Amanda R. Spinner, of Taylorville, pulled out in front of him form Clay Street and he was unable to stop before striking Spinner. Spinner said she was traveling north on Clay Street. Spinner said sh did not see Orr when she entered the intersection and struck his vehicle. She stated the crash was her fault because she did not see Orr when she entered the intersection.

On November 17, Martin Wilson, of Owaneco, was raveling north on Webster Street and slowed for traffic at the intersection of Webster and Spresser Streets. Megan Smith, of Taylorville, was also traveling north on Webster Street could not stop in time and struck Wilson, causing damage.
