Taylorville Police report an incident at a motel that ended in the arrests of two people. Cops were dispatched to the Gaslight Motel at around 3:15 am Wednesday (11-13) on reports of a disturbance. After an investigation, 20 year-old Martina I. Lyles of Taylorville and 45 year-old John L. Manning of Springfield were both arrested on domestic battery charges. They were processed at the Tayorville Police Department, then taken to the Christian County Jail.
