The recent elections may have seemed like a three ring circus, but now a real circus is coming to Central Illinois.

The Ansar Shrine is once again bringing the Royal Hanneford Circus to Springfield's Prairie Capital Convention Center. One of America's largest traveling circuses, the family-friendly Royal Hanneford features elephants, aerial acts, jugglers and daredevils. The Ansar Shrine Clowns will also be on hand to "help out".

The fun starts with a 7:00 show Friday night.  There'll be three performances Saturday and two Sunday. Tickets are available at dozens of Springfield businesses and at the Prairie Capital Convention Center box office.
