One sure sign that the holidays are approaching is the opening of the Festival of Lights at Forest Park in Shelbyville. Coordinator Bill Bly tells Regional Radio about this year's opening:

There is no charge to drive through the Festival of Lights, but donations are accepted. Again, the event kicks off November 21st with the soup supper at 5:00 pm. The lights stay on every night through December 27th.
