A Taylorville woman reportedly cut a corner too sharply Friday (10-24), causing an accident on the city's northeast side. Taylorville Police say 77 year-old Christel Wright was driving her 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee south on Snodgrass Street when she took a sharp left onto Esther Street. The Jeep apparently clipped the front of a 2007 Chevy Impala driven by 21 year-old Allison D. Smith of Bulpitt.
There were three passengers in the Chevy, including two children. There were no reported injuries. Both vehicles were damaged. The reports didn't specify whether any citations were issued.
