Don't be in too big a hurry to pack away the costumes Friday night, as  Halloween celebrations will continue into Saturday, November 1st in Assumption.  

The Assumption Fest is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat in the downtown area, starting with a costume parade at 4:00 pm on Chestnut. That will be followed by games and Halloween music. Until 6:00 pm, hot dogs and drinks will be served at the fire house for a donation. The evening will be capped off with the showing of the movie "Monster's U" on the football field.
