The Nokomis Redskins travel to Lawrenceville in the first round of the Illinois High School football playoffs this weekend. The pairings announcement was made Saturday night by the I-H-S-A and heard on WTIM and WSVZ.

Nokomis head football coach Gabe Cesar-etti told Regional Radio during our annual Pigskin Playoff Preview Show, that he was expecting to travel for their first round playoff game.

And, Coach Cesaretti added that the Nokomis football program has a great group of fans in the community.

If enough sponsorships are secured, Nokomis playoff games will be heard on NEW Country 104-point-one. The games will also be streamed live at taylorvilledailynews-dot-com.
