Thorogood To Rock Effingham

The always bad-to-the-bone rocker George Thorogood and his band The Delaware Destroyers will rock the stage at the Effingham Performance Center Tuesday night (10-07).

Thorogood gained his first mainstream exposure in 1981, as opening act for the Rolling Stones. Since then, he has delivered two Platinum and six Gold albums. Thorogood and The Destroyers have sold more than 15 million albums worldwide. He's still best known for his 1982 hit, "Bad to the Bone", which Thorogood also wrote.

The Effingham Performance Center is located near the intersection of Interstates 57 and 70. Tickets are available by phone at (800)-745-3000, via Ticketmaster, or at the box office.
