Pana Police Report Warrant, Domestic Battery Arrests

Pana Police are reporting a pair of arrests related to domestic battery.

Early Monday morning (9-22) a complaint was made about domestic violence at 705 East 2nd Street. After a quick investigation, cops arrested 32 year-old Cory O. Scribner of Pana on a failure to appear warrant, on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance.

35 year-old Amy Sue Northway of Pana was arrested on a failure to appear warrant in Effingham County, for a reported theft charge.

Scribner and Northway were both taken to the Christian County Jail,  where they were held in lieu of bond.

Scribner and another resident, 32 year-old Jeanette R.File of Pana, filed domestic battery charges against each other. The complaints were forwarded to the Christian County States Attorney's office.

In a separate incident, Pana Police arrested a local man after he was accused of assaulting a 33 year-old woman. 36 year-old Eric J. Klein of  Pana was arrested early last Friday morning on a domestic battery charge.
