2 of the Miller Media Group radio stations in Taylorville will hold its annual telethon to benefit the United Way of Christian County, on Thursday, September 25th.
M-M-G president Randal J. Miller, and United Way executive director Malia Hepburn, will co-host the telethon. Several representatives of United Way supported agencies, will also appear.
This year, the telethon will be heard on Newstalk WTIM THE BIG 870 AM and 96.3 FM from 8:30 til 10 in the morning, then the telethon will move over to WRAN groovy 97.3 and be heard on that station from 10 until noon.
Listeners will be asked to contribute to help the United Way support 25 local agencies continue to help over 10,000 Christian County residents. No calls will be taken on-the-air, but those pledging toward the United Way campaign will be acknowledged.
