Long-time Taylorville Memorial Hospital C-E-O Dan Raab has announced his retirement effective at the end of the year.

Raab told Regional Radio's Randy Miller, that he began informing his staff and medical board that he was ending his health care career on December 31st.

Raab began his career in health care while in high school.

Raab will continue to reside in Taylorville after his retirement.
