An alert off-duty cop helped nab a couple of suspected pot offenders. 

According to police, early in the evening September 9th, the officer noticed apparent marijuana smoking in a vehicle in the Wendy's Restaurant parking lot and called it in. After a quick investigation, authorities arrested 47 year-old Tina Simmons and 18 year-old Wyatt Martin, both of Sparling Illinois, on charges of possession of both cannabis and drug paraphenalia.
