Local McDonald's Restaurants Offering Smoothies for Service to First Responders Next Week

 width=Local McDonald's Restaurants are honoring First Responders next week during the September Eleventh National Day of Service and Remembrance, by offering them a free Small McCafe Smoothie.

 

Brad Davis, whose family owns and operates McDonald's Restaurants in Taylorville, Pana, Shelbyville, and Vandalia, tells Regional Radio News that all the First Responders have to do, is show a valid state-issued ID card.

Davis says this is the 2nd consecutive year for the local McDonald's Restaurants to honor the First Responders.

And, Davis said the reaction of First Responders to their Free Smoothie last year, was gratifying.

First Responders are invited to show their valid state-issued ID card to get their free Small McCafe Smoothie September 8th thru the 12th at the local McDonald's.
