The Pana Police Department is reporting an incident of identity theft that occurred Wednesday. Around 2:17pm, Stephanie L. Cohen of Decatur reported that a stolen check was used at Walmart for a purchase over $500. During the investigation, 25-year-old Tiffany N. Mullins of Argenta was identified from surveillance images recorded during the transaction. Information will be forwarded to the State’s Attorney’s office for reference of possible charges.
