The Taylorville City Council could have possession of the property on East Vine Street, where a rundown house sits, soon rather than later. City Attorney Rocci Romano told the Council that the one known co-owner is willing to sign a document of consent that will allow the City to tear it down and avoid going through a court process:

Alderman Ray Koonce suggested that they take a picture of the house that way if any of the other co-owners do appear, they can show them the state the house was in.
