THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
Brett M. Sloan, 19, of 106 West 1st Street Apt 8, Assumption, was arrested July 7 for burglary and theft.
Brandon C. Partridge, 35, of 2803 Monmouth Court, Springfield, was arrested July 7 on a bond forfeiture for deceptive practice/bad check.
Terry D. Middleton, 40, of 409 Taylorville Boulevard, Taylorville, was arrested July 8 for domestic battery.
Mark A. Getz, 43, of 2 North John Street, Pana, was arrested July 8 for domestic battery.
Bradley W. Bennett, 30, of 100 Fair Avenue Apt. 224, Pana, was arrested July 7 on a warrant for speeding 40mph over the limit.
Kyle Gates, 21, of 1837 Ferris Drive, Decatur, was arrested July 7 for overloading a motorboat and operating a watercraft under the influence of alcohol. (625 45/5-16-A-1-B)
THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:
On July 6, Taylorville Police Department received a call from an anonymous caller referencing a male juvenile who was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The 17-year-old juvenile was said to be walking towards Manners Park on Third Street. Following officer's arrival, the male juvenile was placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia.
On July 6 at 1:09am, Taylorville Police Department officers made contact with Nathan T. Mount, 19, of Shelbyville near Bill's Toasty. Mount had a valid warrant for his arrest out of Shelby County. Mount was placed under arrest and transported to Christian County Sheriff's Office in lieu of bond.
On July 7 at 2:30pm, Taylorville Police Department was advised of a male subject who was stabbed. Officers arrived and determined the victim was not stabbed but was instead involved in a disturbance. After speaking to complainant and witnesses, Gerald L. Olive, 60, of Taylorville was arrested for disorderly conduct. Olive was transported to Taylorville Police Department for processing and released on a notice to appear.
