The Taylorville Police Department reports that four people were sent to the hospital following a crash on Friday. Around 12:12pm, 40-year-old Brian L. Brady of Troy was traveling east on Route 48. Brady was nearing the intersection of Route 48 and Shumway. 25-year-old Christina S. Mikulski of Springfield was traveling south on Cherokee Street and stopped at the intersection of Route 48 and Cherokee Street. Mikulski reportedly did not see Brady and proceeded into the intersection causing a collision. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. Mikulski was transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital with injuries described as minor by the report. Brady's passengers: 44-year-old Wendy M. Brady, a 12-year-old girl, and a 13-year-old girl, were all transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital with injuries described as minor by the report. Brady himself reported no injuries.
