The Taylorville Police Department arrested a Riverton resident on a drug charge on Sunday. Around 10:03 pm, Taylorville Police Department Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. After an investigation, 24-year-old Aaron M. Steele of Riverton was arrested for possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials. Steele was transported to the Taylorville Police Department, processed, and transferred to the Christian County Correctional Center.
