The Taylorville Police Department reports that one person was arrested for criminal trespassing and public intoxication. On Thursday around 7:46 pm, Taylorville Police Department Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Vandeveer in reference to an intoxicated male yelling at vehicles. Officers arrived and following an investigation, 29-year-old Joshua A. Westerfield of Taylorville was arrested for public intoxication and criminal trespass to residence.
