The Village of Raymond is celebrating our nation's independence a little early, as the annual Raymond Independence Day Celebration began Thursday night.
The festival continues through Saturday night. Attractions include nightly stage shows, a carnival, and music in the beer tent. A lucky child will win a bicycle every night, with the drawing held at 9:15. There is also a rib cook off, along with a wide variety of other food and beverage choices. The event winds up with a giant fireworks display Saturday night at 10:00.
