Area Arrests/Crashes/Incidents 6-17-14

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING CRASH:

On June 9 at 8:55pm, Thomas G. Zoerner, 57, of Jacksonville was traveling west on Route 104. At 775 East, a deer entered the roadway from the north. Zoerner then collided with the deer in the road. No injuries were reported.

Chloe L. Windell, 19, of 516 Taylorville Boulevard, Taylorville, was arrested June 16 for contempt of court.


THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

On June 15 at 7:27pm, Taylorville Police Department dispatch received a complaint from a female, who reportedly admitted she was drinking and underage, but wanted to report a theft. She hung up with dispatch but called back a few minutes later to follow up on her complaint and identified herself as 19-year-old Tiara N. Shull of Taylorville. Officers went to her residence and following an investigation, Shull was arrested for illegal possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor and for resisting/obstructing a peace officer.

On June 16 at 4:55pm, a Taylorville Police Department officer was out at 516 Taylorville Boulevard for a lock out. 19-year-old Chloe Windell was outside the residence and the officer knew her to have a valid Christian County failure to appear warrant. Dispatch verified the warrant through the Law Enforcement Agencies Data System. Windell was placed under arrest and transported to the Christian County Correctional Center.

CRASH:

On June 13 at 6:08pm, Tori A. Sunderland, 18, of Stonington was traveling west on Spresser Street and was passing in front of Circle K gas station. A 16-year-old Taylorville male was pulling out of Circle K and did not see Sunderland. Both vehicles collided causing damage. Both vehicles were able to leave the scene. No injuries were reported.
