There is a chance that a greenhouse facility near Taylorville will be turned into a growing facility for medical marijuana, but not everybody is on board with the possibility.  Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettelkamp is against the idea of medical marijuana, and he says we will be setting a bad example if we approve it:

The Christian County site is just one of several being considered.  The move would bring 30 to 40 jobs to the area, and that's why it is being supported by several local officials.
