Archer Daniels Midland Company recently donated $20,000 to the Macon County Conservation Foundation. The donation will be used to present the Into the Wild program series and expand School Science Partnerships. Into the Wild introduces families to a different environmental topic each month through a variety of activities. After a successful pilot program this past school year, the School Science Partnerships will be expanded to bring naturalists into the classroom to provide hands-on learning about the environmental sciences at five schools during the upcoming school year. The donation was given through the ADM Cares grant.
