With a 6-run deficit, the Taylorville Tornadoes lost their IHSA Class 3-A Regional Semi-Final baseball game to Rochester Thursday as heard on Groovy 93.5. The final score was 8-2. The game, played in Taylorville, moves the Rochester Rockets to the championship game Saturday in Taylorville. Rocket Center Fielder Blake Thompson provided the victory-sealing grand slam home run in the game. The "Doug McKinnie-Country Financial" Tornado Player-of-the-Game was Bo Buschon who was credited with an RBI double in the top of the 6th inning. 

And...the Shelbyville Rams lost to the Carmi Bulldogs Wednesday by a final score of 14-2 in a baseball game heard on Solid Gold, 98.3/WRAN.
