THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Bennie L. Beck, 28, of 103 West Third, Pana, was arrested May 8 on a bond forfeiture for possession of cannabis.

Leota F. Trull, 57, of 2634 Poplar Street, Springfield, was arrested May 7 on a bond forfeiture for forgery.

Penelope J. Gomez, 25, of 1220 South Livingston, Springfield, was arrested May 7 on a warrant for chemically manufacturing of a controlled substance.

Destiney R. Kee, 18, was arrested May 8 for home invasion/violence against person, resisting a peace officer, and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

CRASH:

On May 5, Shelby K. Herman, 22, of Taylorville was traveling southbound on 2100 East Road. At 1750 North, a deer entered Herman's path of travel from the east side of the road. Herman then struck the deer. No injuries reported.
