THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING CRASH:

On May 4, a 15-year-old male from Taylorville was traveling northbound on 1400 East Road approaching 1100 North Road. Christopher M. Rogers, 26, of Taylorville was traveling westbound on 1100 North Road approaching 1400 East Road. The 15-year-old made it into the intersection and began proceeding through it when Rogers struck him in the right bed side near the bumper. Rogers stated that he did not see the 15-year-old and was unable to avoid striking him.

ARRESTS:

Eric B. Davis, 27, of Lot 3 Trailer Court, Blue Mound, was arrested May 7 on a bond forfeiture for failure to appear.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARREST:

On May 7 at 9:01am, a Taylorville Police Department officer went to #25 Gas Light Motel in an attempt to locate Eric D. Davis, 27, of Blue Mound. The officer knew Davis had a valid warrant for his arrest. The officer along with a Christian County Sheriff's deputy located Davis. The warrant was confirmed through the Taylorville Police Department Law Enforcement Agencies Data System. Davis was arrested and transported to Christian County Correctional Center.
