An example of Hansen's work

The Taylorville Arts Council and Davis Memorial Christian Church are sponsoring a Chuck Hansen Art Exhibit this Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Saturday from 1:00 to 4:00pm and Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00pm. Hansen’s art will be displayed in the Davis Memorial Christian Church fellowship hall. The church is located at 1500 West Franklin. The exhibit is open to the public and free of charge. Refreshments will be provided.

Hansen moved to Taylorville in 1993 to take a job as defensive coordinator for the Taylorville Tornadoes football team. Hansen’s art ranges from the abstract to realistic to impressionistic. Hansen most recently had an exhibit at St. Benedictine University in Springfield.
