A Stonington farmer had a field vandalized this past weekend. On Sunday, Robert Carls of Stonington called the Christian County Sheriff's Office about damage to his cornfield. After speaking with Carls, a deputy traveled to the field located around 2400 North 1400 East Road in Blue Mound. Once on scene, the deputy saw where a vehicle had entered the field from west to east and damaged about 1 acre of 2" standing corn. The deputy reported that the tire tracks appear to be from a pickup truck or SUV with Bridgestone Dueler tires. There are no suspects at this time.
