The Taylorville Park Board met Monday night and was presented with a motion to repair the damaged Dining Hall gutters. Secretary/Bookkeeper MaryAnn Becker told the Board about the damage:

The Board approved the motion unanimously. The work will be done by Young’s Roofing Inc.

Secretary/Bookkeeper MaryAnn Becker informed the Taylorville Park Board at their Monday meeting that she, along with Recreation Director Bailey Hancock and Maintanance Superintendent Gary Brown, applied for a youth recreation grant. Becker told the Baord what the grant would allow them to do if their application is approved:

Hancock said the swim lesson instructor that the grant will cover will be whoever she chooses to be in charge.

The Taylorville Park Board approved the lowest bid from MidWest for the construction of the new irrigation system at Lakeshore Golf Course. The Board also approved the Budget for fiscal year 2014-15.
