Two people were sent to the hospital following a 2-vehicle crash in Pana last week. On Thursday, 54-year-old Linda L. Sims of Pana was southbound in the alley just west of Chestnut Street and reportedly failed to yield from the alley. Sims continued southbound and struck 20-year-old Ashley N. Gordon of Pana who was traveling westbound. The collision caused minor damage to both vehicles. Gordon and her passenger, 34-year-old Martha M. Shallembarger of Pana, were transported to Pana Community Hospital for treatment of injuries that were not physically evident. Sims was issued a citation for failure to yield and Gordon was issued a citation for operating a vehicle uninsured.
