10 people were arrested Tuesday on various drug charges. At 10:30 a.m., agents from the Illinois State Police Central Illinois Enforcement Group, Illinois State Police Zone 4, Illinois State Police Meth Response Team, Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Taylorville Police Department, and the Edinburg Police Department conducted an arrest warrant detail for numerous arrest warrants issued by the Christian County States Attorney’s Office. 63-year-old Roger D. Moss of Edinburg, 49-year-old Wesley A. Hobbs of Rochester, 52-year-old Joseph W. Carey of Edinburg, 32-year-old Shane A. Rhodes of Pana and 20-year-old Dalton C. Daniels of Oconee were all arrested for the manufacturing and delivery of cannabis.
24-year-old Lorenzo C. Harper of Taylorville was arrested for the manufacturing and delivery of cocaine. 57-year-old Nina Armstrong of Taylorville and 31-year-old Nathan W. Moore of Pana were arrested for the delivery of a controlled substance. 31-year-old Caleb W. Alsbury of Taylorville was arrested for possession and delivery of methamphetamine precursor and 47-year-old Kathy L. Cooper of Pana was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Additional arrests are anticipated.
