Kincaid Mayor Doug Thomas will have another month before he has to appear back in court. Thomas was scheduled to appear in court today but it has been rescheduled for May 16 at 10am. Thomas is facing 2 counts of violating an order of protection and 1 count of possession of a controlled substance. Thomas was arrested February 20th by Christian County Sheriff’s deputies for violating an order of protection and drug possession after deputies found prescription drugs in an unlabeled bottle on him. He was arrested again on March 13th by the Illinois State Police for the second violation of an order of protection.
