Lincoln Land Community College’s Capital City Training Center, in partnership with Everlast Software, will offer several computer security seminars this spring. 

The seminars will be held Saturdays, April 12, May 3 and June 28, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and Tuesday, May 20 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. 

Presenter Darrell Fortae, who founded Everlast Software in 2005, will discuss potential computer security issues and how to protect computers and mobile devices.  Other topics include malware, email, passwords, internet browsing, encryption, digital certificates, identity theft, Facebook, deleting files, firewalls, backups and wireless security. This seminar is useful for computer novices through experts.
