THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS:

Daniel E. McNeely, 30, of 1257 Bridon Lane, Taylorville, was arrested March 20 for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Chloe L. Windell, 19, of 516 Taylorville Boulevard, Taylorville, was arrested March 20 on a bond forfeiture for resisting a peace office/correctional employee

Tawny L. Thomas, 18, of 101 South Maple Street, Stonington, was arrested March 20 on a bond forfeiture for consumption of liquor by a minor.

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPOTS THE FOLLOWING CRASHES:

On March 19, a 16-year-old female of Pana stated she had to slam on her brakes to avoid striking a van that had stopped abruptly in front of her and turned into a private drive. Another 16-year-old female from Pana could not stop in time and struck the rear of the first 16-year-old. The second female was rear-ended by a third vehicle. However the driver of the third vehicle inspected their damage and left before officer arrived. Both females reported the van was driving in a erratic matter. No injuries reported.
