There is help available for those who want to kick the smoking habit. Lori Younker, Program Director for the American Lung Association, says the Tobacco Quitline is a free service which has seen a dramatic increase:

Smoking, which causes 44,000 American deaths every year, is the leading cause of preventable death. In ChristianCounty, over 26% of adults are smokers.
